"The Artificial Intelligence (AI) revolution is transforming various areas of society, including the job market and engineering. This study investigates the impacts of AI on the job market, focusing on the engineering profession. It analyzes the dynamics, demands, and competencies required of engineering professionals, as well as the present challenges and opportunities. It concludes that AI offers both benefits and limitations, necessitating a rebalancing of labor forces and a reflection on the social and ethical implications of this transformation. "
