Introdução: A Insuficiência Cardíaca (IC) representa a maior causa cardiovascular de morbidade hospitalar. Apesar da sua relevância, são escassos os estudos na América Latina sobre os preditores de mortalidade intra-hospitalar em pacientes com IC.
