Abstract:
Chiral alcohols are important intermediates in the synthesis of many pharmaceuticals including biologically active compounds. Among these, chiral β-halo aryl ethanols can be considered versatile intermediates in organic synthesis as potential synthetic precursors of pharmaceutically important molecules.
