"This study aims to rank criteria for siting photovoltaic panel production inBrazil using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). With Brazil's potential in solarenergy, strategic site selection is key for sector competitiveness. Criteria includedtechnical, economic, and logistical aspects. The Southeast Region emerged as themost suitable due to logistical benefits and raw material proximity. Findings arerelevant for investors and policymakers, highlighting the Southeast as the focal pointfor Brazil's photovoltaic industry development. Despite AHP's subjectivity andsecondary data reliance, the approach is effective for solar sector strategic decisions.Future research should broaden the scope and integrate more methods tostrengthen results. "
