"This study aims to rank criteria for siting photovoltaic panel production in Brazil using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). With Brazil's potential in solar energy, strategic site selection is key for sector competitiveness. Criteria included technical, economic, and logistical aspects. The Southeast Region emerged as the most suitable due to logistical benefits and raw material proximity. Findings are relevant for investors and policymakers, highlighting the Southeast as the focal point for Brazil's photovoltaic industry development. Despite AHP's subjectivity and secondary data reliance, the approach is effective for solar sector strategic decisions. Future research should broaden the scope and integrate more methods to strengthen results. "
