Para melhor perceber a ação dos estímulos da Arquitetura em um indivíduo, a neurociência cognitiva-comportamental contribui para o desenvolvimento de estudos entre pessoa-ambiente. Dentro disso, temas como emoção e sentimento são fundamentais a fim de compreender o comportamento humano, fazendo-se necessário conhecer também o funcionamento do organismo. Além disso, elementos de luz e sombra possuem capacidade de impactar o indivíduo que vivencia o espaço. O presente artigo tem como objetivo a análise da influência dos elementos luz e sombra sobre a ativação de gatilhos emocionais, avaliando a percepção de imagens dos ambientes do Museu Judaico de Berlim, do arquiteto Daniel Libeskind como objeto de estudo. Como resultado obtêm-se uma relação em quadro-resumo dos conceitos de emoções e sentimentos abordados pelo neurocientista António Damásio com o elemento de luz e sombra dos ambientes do museu.

To perceive the action of architectural stimuli in an individual, cognitive-behavioral neuroscience contributes to the development of studies between person-environment. Within this, themes such as emotion and feeling are fundamental in order to understand human behavior, making it necessary to also know the functioning of the organism. In addition, elements of light and shadow have the aptitude to impact the individual who experiences the space. This article aims to analyze the influence of light and shadow elements on the activation of emotional triggers, evaluating the perception of images from the environments of the Jewish Museum in Berlin, by the architect Daniel Libeskind as an object of study. As a result, a summary table of the concepts of emotions and feelings approached by the neuroscientist António Damásio with the element of light and shadow of the museum environments is obtained.
