Based on a research on museum exhibitions this paperdiscusses a study case for: The Victoria and AlbertMuseum. Review of literature, ethnographic fieldwork,qualitative analyses and interviews, were instrumentalfor tracing the resources and connections adoptedto communicate fashion design, as clothing materialculture, and the possibilities of those practices for thepromotion and integration of clothing material culturewithin the contemporary context.
