Design Projects simple and functionals, cheap and with a lots of creativity, are common initiatives in enterprise environments. Several research applied to visual communication, such as: Instructional Design, Social Design, Design and Emotion, and Design and Interaction, turn their research for Design as a tool for improving self-esteem, mood and performance of a company employees. However, Brazilian Design solutions directed to the educational environment is still in the begining, especially when speaking in the Public Education. The objective of this work is to survey data of students of Graphic Design IFPB - Cabedelo through a metaphorical questionnaire, to generate solutions for the educational environment, in order to improve the relationship that students have with the Institution. The base for this studies are: the theory of semiotics Charles Sanders Pierce (1977) and the Study of image and Metaphors by authors Santaella and Nöth (2004), Nicholas (2009), Lakoff and Johnson (2002) and others. The research objectives are based in the Content Analysis, proposed by Fonseca Junior (2009). The results of this research show how students see their progress, their needs and absences, as well as his state of mind regarding of the educational practices. It is a material relevant to the development of methods and approaches to teaching / learning perspective of information design.
