The graphics, technical and physical attributes of the capixaba newspaper Posição reveal angles of the collective memory and show a graphic identity influenced by the military regime that singled Brazil and the state of Espírito Santo in the 1970s. It''s contesting ideology trougth it''s circulation is also evident in it''s aesthetic alternatives, established through a graphical analysis developed during two years of research. This article summarizes aspects tangents at the intersection between graphical and historical trajectory that highlight the contribution of graphic memory and support for the preservation of the collective memory Brazilian.
