Full Article:

"Coffee fruits are processed to obtain green coffee beans, which, afterroasting, gives rise to roasted coffee. Sustainable extraction technologies, such as highpressure gas extraction, hold promise for producing oils with high yields and reducingenvironmental impact. The study aimed the study of kinetic extraction of coffee oilsusing pressurized fluids. Samples were analyzed for moisture content and extractedunder varying solvent proportions (0 to 40% v/v of CO2 into propane) and temperatures(20 to 60°C). The time of extraction was obtained used a statistics analysis of variance(ANOVA). 30 min showed a maximum performance of yield. Green and roasted coffeeperformed best with pure propane at 60°C."
