Article:
In this research we present a design for a mass customization online 3D model fordeployable emergency shelter that automatically provides drawings for CNCmachines. The main motivation for such research has risen from a global need toprovide emergency shelters for people affected by natural disaster. The model isdesigned to be a flat packable, mono-material based on a double corrugatedfolding pattern. Based on numerous functional, structural and fabricationconstraints the presented model can provide a myriad of similar geometric formsthat can reflect personal needs and can be used for different purposes.
