With the current growth of the vehicular electrification market, the use of electric machines has become more common. Several components of the machine influence the performance of it, so the knowledge of specific aspects can improve the development process. The magnetic flux density is an important parameter in the performance of the machine, so methods to understand its behavior become necessary. This work presents a measurement system based on a Hall effects sensor, which is used in the measurement of the magnetic field of the rotor of a vehicular alternator. The results of the measurements are compared with the analytical method and computational simulation, as result is observed a good correlation between the proposed method and the theoretical model presented.
