The methodology applied to graphical analysis of alternative newspaper Posição, published between 1976-1979, represents a improved system of procedures from precursor experiments developed in the Industrial Design Department of the Federal University of Espírito Santo. It included the photographic records of publication editions, through which, were been researched, compiled and tabulated several variables on the Posição design, that built an inventory of their graphics and technicians elements during circulated. This system acquires value through of omen that their effectiveness can collaborate with process optimization of methodologies used by researchs about collections of periodicals, among others.
