Full Article:
We live in a context where the nature or physical place ceased to be the most significant part of the environment. Space is aggregated with information that are carried by each action within society, they are the main operating power of a new environment. These flows used to be hidden by physical barriers, but they are being exposed by new forms of display: services, opinions and relations are now graphical data. The use of georeference in programmable devices like Urbanflow increased the user of mobile technologies access to urban services and changed the individual''s relationship with the city, changing the meaning of space and generating new applications for the concept of interface. The system integrates mobiles, computers and electronic panels distributed by urban space that provide information and select them according to the user. The Urbanflow provides the user’s driftage through city, encourages experimentation, sharing feelings and fulfills its main function: putting information at the service of communities, ie communicate.
