This study focus in design process that uses the digital environment in context ofundergraduate courses of Architecture and Urbanism, mainly the DigitalArchitectural Design (DAD). From author's previous studies that classified theteaching practice in Latin America, the Brazilian data were analyzed due to itsexpressive and heterogeneous features. Faced with a scenario that points toinstitutional characteristics reflect in the teaching approach, a horizontalmapping was performed. A data cross-referencing through correlationmethodology was carried out. As result, there is a prevalence of publicinstitutions that use teaching practice using DAD, most of them located at Southand Southeast with a close link between teaching and research.
