Full Article:

"Quantum key distribution (QKD) has become increasingly important in datasecurity and cryptography due to its reliance on the principles of quantum mechanics. For this work, preliminary results for the Twin-field QKD based on Sagnacinterferometer were shown with two experiments. The first experiment denoted therelation between the inserted voltage on the phase modulator and photon counting inboth detectors, while the second experiment analyzed which basis can be used toimplement this protocol. The experimental results demonstrated that ±2.5V and 5V ofamplitude correspond to approximately ±π/2 and π respectively, and the {0,π} and {-π/2,π/2} basis can be used to generate quantum keys."
