O segmento de indústria de panificação e confeitaria é um dos seis maiores segmentos industriais do Brasil, porém, 96,3% destas industrias, são enquadradas como empresas de pequeno porte [1]. Portanto, foi realizado um estudo de viabilidade para implementação de medidas ecoeficientes em uma indústria confeiteira de pequeno porte da cidade do Salvador/Ba. Com a adoção das ações propostas, a empresa deixará de contribuir com a emissão de, aproximadamente, 112 toneladas de dióxido de carbono nos próximos 25 anos e de consumir, aproximadamente, 6.832,81 m³ de água potável neste mesmo período, gerando uma economia monetária de R$2.250.635,50 referente à energia elétrica e ao consumo de água potável.

The bakery and confectionery industry segment is one of the six largest industrial segments in Brazil, but 96.3% of these industries are classified as small companies [1]. Therefore, a feasibility study was carried out to implement eco-efficient measures in a small confectionery industry in the city of Salvador / Ba. With the adoption of the proposed actions, the company will no longer contribute to the emission of approximately 112 tons of carbon dioxide over the next 25 years and to consume approximately 6,832.81 m³ of drinking water during the same period, generating a monetary economy. R$ 2,250,635.50 related to electricity and drinking water consumption.
