"This study sought to identify the main management initiatives and strategies,as well as the critical factors for operation and governance in technology platforms. Anarrative review of the scientific literature was carried out, encompassing threethematic blocks (core facilities management x core facilities x technological platforms)searched in the Pubmed database. To identify management practices, descriptionswere developed of the technological platforms, management practices, operatingmodels for providing services, indicators and business models of these specializedsupport units for scientific research, which made it possible to identify aspects relatedto the management areas of technological platforms that still need to be improved."
