SIMULATION OF AN AGAVE PLANT FOR ETHANOL PRODUCTION

SIMULATION OF AN AGAVE PLANT FOR ETHANOL PRODUCTION

Villardi, Hugo Gomes D'Amato ; Cruz, Andressa Improta ; Cruz, Victoria Franco ; Miguel Junior, Antonio Rimaci ; Azzoni, Sindelia Freitas ; Pessoa, Fernando Luiz Pellegrini ;

Completo:

"The agave, a versatile plant from the Agavaceae family, native to theAmericas, is renowned for its resilience in adverse soil and climate conditions. Utilizedover the centuries by various cultures, including the Aztecs, not only as food but alsofor fibers and alcoholic beverages such as tequila, the agave is now the subject ofstudy for biofuel production. This project aims to propose a flowchart and evaluate thebalances, yields, and efficiencies of ethanol production using Agave Tequilana juice."
