The continuities in dressing in the history of pattern clothing

This article discusses the changes that have occurred in clothing pattern making throughout history. The clothing pieces are the main way of expressing the fashion phenomenon. However, changes in clothing pattern making do not occur with the same speed of changes proposed by fashion trends. To identify these changes, a diachronic analysis was performed based on books of clothing history, as well as others books related to the field of design and history of the man evolution.One can see that the clothing is a cultural construct of man and fashion trends result in subtle changes, while large differences in modeling occur and are absorbed gradually.
