"The National Council of Justice records qualitative data on the factor of procedural delay. On the other hand, the National Penitentiary Department System provides quantitative data on incarcerated individuals. Thus, the need arose to analyze the use of computational tools that could contribute to the procedural speed of imprisoned individuals. A critical review of government data and scientific works developed proved adequate for analyzing this scenario. It was demonstrated that the Brazilian judiciary does not have specific projects to address imprisoned individuals. The development of a conceptual model using artificial intelligence to integrate millions of processes, various variables, and systems could be a significant contribution."
