"The growing violence in Brazil, especially in Bahia, highlights the need tomodernize policing methods. This article examines the use of artificial intelligence inpublic security and proposes an intelligent statistical analysis system for crime tosupport the management of police actions in Salvador. Using applied, exploratoryand explanatory research, with data from bibliographic references, the resultsindicate that the geoprocessing technique is effective in analyzing criminal data andgenerating graphs of the need for police contingents per neighborhood. Theimplementation of artificial intelligence proved promising in order to develop moreassertive and agile plans for managing police resources. Thus, the use ofgeoprocessing, specifically geostatistics, makes it possible to implement Pythoncodes that allow the already public data to be used."
