Deaf children and hearing: a comparative study about preferences to color, shape and drawing style

This paper presents a theoretical foundation and comparative study of the exploratory experiments preference for color, form and designing style applied to 19 hearing children and reapplies them with 15 deaf children. The results indicate that there are differences in preferences between deaf and hearing children that need to be further investigated and discussed by researchers in the field of information design.
