A utilização de métodos de coleta de dados sobre usuários e ambiente é fundamental para a efetividade de projetos de wayfinding, e alternativas didáticas podem estimular o uso de tais métodos. Neste sentido, este artigo busca identificar os elementos compositivos de toolkits utilizados na área do design. Para tanto, apresenta breve contextualização sobre wayfinding, sobre o método Wayfinding Information Behavior - WIB e sobre toolkits. Na sequência descreve uma análise comparativa de 18 toolkits a partir de parâmetros definidos a partir do conteúdo informacional (verbal e pictórico). Os resultados, analisados quanti/qualitativamente possibilitaram uma caracterização inicial sobre os elementos compositivos desses kits, a qual auxiliará na definição da estrutura de um toolkit do método WIB. Espera-se que este estudo também possa contribuir positivamente com o desenvolvimento de ferramentas destinadas ao ensino e prática projetual do Design.

The use of data collection methods about users and the environment is fundamental for the effectiveness of wayfinding projects, and didactic alternatives can stimulate the use of such methods. In this respect, this paper seeks to identify the compositional elements of toolkits used in the design area. For this purpose, it presents a brief contextualization of wayfinding, Wayfinding Information Behavior - WIB method, and toolkits. Next, it describes a comparative analysis of 18 toolkits based on parameters defined from the informational content (verbal and pictorial). The results were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively and allowed an initial characterization of the compositional elements of these kits, which will help to define the structure of a toolkit of the WIB method. It is expected that this study can also contribute positively to tools development aimed at teaching and designing design practice.
