Information architetcture in web: a case study of using the card-sorting method for redesign of the portal of Universidade Federal de Pelotas

The research was held as a final project for Curso de Design Digital at the Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel) and it proposes a new information architecture for the site of the university, whose focus is on the usability and experience of the users  when they utilize the institutional plataform. Besides presenting theoretical reference, that subsequently also underlie the construction of the work practice, this research conducts analysis, usability testing with real users of the platform and use the card-sorting method in order to justify the proposed changes in the new structure of the UFPel portal.
