This article pretends to analyze the production design’s theoretical field in the Brazilian contemporary cinema noting the shades of style that can emerge when the production designer’s practical performance is taken into consideration as raw material of a stylistic reference. Is there a possibility that the production designer, on the current situation on Brazil, can establish a personal visual style?
